Eating Lite. Still.

We're in London, continues...

Last night we went out for a casual dinner at one of our favorite London restaurants, Kobe London, which has now changed its name to Hakuba. We're a little confused that they changed their name again, and that there is a job posting for a new chef in the window. Is the restaurant going to stay fabulous? We hope so.

Last night it was very good, although my beef was a bit overdone. It was all still scrumptious. And a bottle of Bollinger made it all the more perfect.

Our plan of eating lite is working, I've lost three pounds since getting to London. Having just one reasonably sized main course, or two small starters, for dinner has done the trick. And no dessert and no bread. I miss the bread but I know it's evil. And no snacking, particularly jelly beans. That's the toughest. I'm very very crabby so John made funny faces while I took photos of him to cheer me up and it worked '-)

ah, yes. this eating lite stuff isn't nearly as fun as eating bread and jelly beans.... i'm afraid i've put on a little marriage weight. ugh. here's to both of us taking off a few pounds in the next few weeks.

you look fab, as usual, by the way.

I like your hair Mrs Jan! It is so long now =0) It makes your body and face look slimmed down with that red dress. I think you look thinner than ever mind you. So there. Hope u are havin fun wit friends and fun grrrl time with KH. Wish I could get my SL shit together and come say hello.

Thank you, Jeremy and Glenda.

Actually, I am going to give my hair a little trim and coloring (gotta cover that grey, sigh) in preparation for going to Cannes next week. Mary and Eliza are taking me makeup shopping so I don't look as California sprouty in Cannes. I'm terrified. I haven't worn makeup since 1994. I hope I don't end up looking like a h00ker. But, then again, in Cannes that could be a good thing.

LOL 1994! U are not going to look like a prozzi. ROTFL. I think Mary and Eliza are gonna make you look perfect, even though you could do it fine on your own. [Get that KFH cleavage out =0)] I always thought you did like light makeup natural. Nice DNA lady! Ooo, I think you are going to have fun I hope. Go all abfab'd out.. Be careful with the champs, sweetie dahling..
