Dinner at Home with Friends

We're in London, continues...

Last night we went downstairs to chez Mary and Eliza for dinner with our friends Maria and Angus.

It was such a treat to not go to a noisy restaurant and have dinner at home where it was quiet and cosy. Mary and Eliza cooked an excellent meal, complete with apple crumble for desert. And a gallon of champagne. Thank you, ladies!

Maria and Angus are two of the funniest people we know, we laughed for hours. It was fabulous. I took my camera just in case they said yes to a photo for the blog because I very stupidly didn't ask for one at their amazing champagne party last week. At last, I have a photo of us together.
