Wilderness Excursion

We're in California for a while, continues...

Yesterday we decided to take a walk in the neighborhood. Our neighborhood just turns out to be China Camp State Park.

John is a big fan of hiking. I am not much of a nature lover but after moving to our new house I have been captivated by the beautiful forest views. So when John suggested a little walk on one of the local trails I thought I'd give it a try.

It was beautiful. The forest is lovely and serene, I really enjoyed it. The views of the San Francisco Bay from the trail in the park are spectacular. The weather is gorgeous; chilly but not too cold with clear blue skies. We just can't believe we live here and are enjoying it tremendously. I might even learn to love the outdoors!
