Lunch with Kirsty and Sir Herman
We're in London, continues...
Yesterday, my best friend Kirsty came in to London for lunch and to spend the afternoon. Although we talk on iChat every day, we haven't actually seen each other since our trip to Chicago.
However, yesterday was extra special because she brought our Second Life friend Michael aka Sir Herman Bingyi. They have been friends for a while after discovering they live right near each other. The three of us have a hilarious time hanging out in Second Life and it was such a pleasure to meet him at last. He is incredibly nice and fun. He is also a very talented musician, I really enjoy his music as Avatar One.
We had lunch at Le Deuxieme, including sticky toffee pudding, yikes. Then we hung out at my house for the afternoon playing the harpsichord and talking and laughing. I wanted a photo of us for the blog so Kirsty set her laptop on the kitchen table to take one of us. She turned on a filter called Photo Booth and it was so completely hilarious that we were crying with laughter. I haven't laughed that hard since I heard Frodo sing about leaving the Shire.
It's always great fun to spend time with Kirsty and I'm so happy I finally got to meet Michael. I'm really lucky to know such wonderful people.
