Under Construction
We're in California for a while continues...
Well I got some space on an island in Second Life for Magnatune. The owner of the island kindly allowed us to build there.
Building is really complicated and difficult but enjoyable and rewarding. I think that scripting is beyond my abilities so I'm hunting for free modifiable scripts or someone to assist me with that part.
I have an idea in my head for how the Magnatune space should be, with different buildings/modules for each music genre where people can listen to a live music stream. I just need to figure it all out.
So far, I've met some incredibly talented and nice people on Second Life. It's not without its problems; there are definitely some rude and creepy people there, just like in Real Life. But I've met very few of those so I have a collection of amazing friends, some of whom are friends in Real Life as well.

Hi Jan, its been great to meet you in Second Life! Just wanted to say hi and I saw your video and music in your magnatune artist page..really enjoying it! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help build the magnatune presence in SL!

Amazing picture. It looks epic and I can't wait to see the progress. I know you'll get the scripts down eventually and I bet you'll be a master builder in no time. Yay Jan!

Jan, It's so fun sharing a mutual addiction to SL. I meant to tell you today when we were bopping around, that I am loving the CD's you burned for me. Thank you!! I've been listening to Delirious obsessively. It's that kind of music. I really hope we can make some music together soon. Just to play and liven up those Berkeley days ;-)
