A Room with A View

One of the things we did when we got back to our house in California is purge. The house felt very crowded and dark compared to our London house so we decided to make a few changes. One of the changes was taking down the curtains so now there are just miniblinds.

I was shocked to discover that, once the curtains were gone from my window, I have a view which includes The Golden Gate Bridge!

The posh houses in the Berkeley Hills have spectacular views of San Francisco, the bay and the bridges. But we don't live there. I had noticed you could see the bay off in the distance when walking around our neighborhood but being able to see the bridge and the hills of Marin County on the other side is really a treat.

Ok, I had to use 'zoom' on my camera to get that photo but hey, it's a view.

See you in London in 3 weeks!
